About Umbrella Business Solutions

Umbrella Business Solutions, LLC  was launched by lifelong entrepreneur, Belinda Goody, who discovered her ingrained passion for business at a the age of 8 when she designed hand-made cards to sell to her neighbors and friends.  By the time she was 18,  she owned her first business  - Poor Native Surf Designs.

After joining the Air Force, she quickly became an invaluable asset to process improvement teams as a critical thinker.  Dubbed as "The Fixer" by her superiors, and an "Organizational Genius" by her peers, she left a legacy of efficiency and positive change throughout her 22-year career.  

Although she is a decorated Veteran, she has also worked in the Federal, State, County and private sectors, including major law firms, banks and other nationally recognized institutions.

Eventually, she founded her own charitable nonprofit in 2011 - the Celtic Heritage Alliance and established the Newport Celtic Festival & Highland Games, which received international attention from the London Telegraph with interviews published in Celtic Life International.  The games became the 2nd largest in the State of Oregon after just three years.

As a leader and manager of businesses, people, and processes for nearly 40 years, and with her unique combination of skills, she was urged to help  support fellow entrepreneurs and nonprofit leaders, so she transitioned her nonprofit to new leadership, and began working as a consultant through Fest-Eval, LLC.

She is able to help small business owners who are struggling because she understands the challenges facing dreamers and "doers" who are taking their first steps toward making their own passion a reality.

She knows first-hand the frustrations facing leaders who may have unknowingly stepped into undersupported positions and need her help to navigate the quagmire and turn things around.

Out of her passion for business and helping others, she created Umbrella Business Solutions, LLC - to offer experience-based knowhow that covers all the areas small businesses and nonprofits need - in one place - at an affordable price.
